This is a web resource designed for all teachers and related service personnel who are involved in educating students with visual impairments, but it is also full of great resources for parents of children who are blind as well. The site explains who is eligible for vision services and what vision services are. I especially like the explantation of what a Functional Vision Evaluation is.

You can also find information about how to adapt materials in a classroom for students who are blind, strategies for teaching students who are blind and information about IEP development.
