Parent Advocates for Visually Impaired Children (PAVIC) Inc. was formed in 1999.

PAVIC’s main objectives are the following:

(1) To reach out and render support to families of children who are either blind, low vision or with visual and multiple impairments

(2) To advocate for equal opportunity in rehabilitation, education and employment. To • maximize the potential of these individuals in preparation for integration into society.

(3) To promote social awareness of the presence, the rights and the needs of our children, in order to attain a more friendly environment for them.
