Participants in the Contest
This contest is open to school programs in the US and Canada with students (under the age of 20) that service children with special needs.
Eligible parties can submit their names through the WonderBaby.org website throughout the duration of the contest. Six schools will be chosen as participants.
Photo & Video Submissions
All participants must submit photos and videos of their children with the LightAide while they are hosting it.
WonderBaby.org reserves the right to disqualify any picture if the contest coordinator deems it to be inappropriate, digitally altered or for any other reason that breaches the rules.
Pictures may be digitally enhanced in such ways as cropping, adding contrast, brightness, sharpening etc.
By submitting a photo, a parent or legal guardian grants WonderBaby.org, Perkins Products and Philips the right to publish the submitted photo and child’s name on their websites and/or in marketing materials. Slight photo alterations may be made by our staff in order to fit our site or email newsletters properly. Each school is responsible to acquire any necessary media release forms.
Voting Procedure
Voting will be tallied via Facebook “likes” at the end of the contest.
Voters do not have to be US or Canada residents. We will be accepting votes world wide.
Participants in the contest are encouraged to ask friends and family to vote by sharing the Facebook voting page via email and social media.
Votes may not be purchased: Any money, incentive or drawing offered in exchange for a vote will cause participant to be disqualified.
Vote Rigging: Any code created to create easier or automatic voting will be grounds for disqualification as well as any development of multiple voting accounts or other means to artificially increase votes.
Keep it civil. Please try to keep any negative thoughts to yourself. If you feel you have some valid concerns please contact us.
Voting will be monitored and any irregularities will be grounds for disqualification.
The participant with the most votes (ie Facebook likes) will win a LightAide.
