  • Multiple sizes are available, so they are perfect for children or adults who need help holding objects.
  • Adjustable to fit almost anything that can be held in one hand, from utensils to toys!
  • EazyHold is made of 100% silicone, making it hygienic, non-toxic, easy to clean, and easy to sanitize.

Children with special needs often have limited grip strength, making it difficult for them to hold on to objects independently. Dropping toys or utensils can be really frustrating and impede the development of simple daily living skills.

My son has very low muscle tone, and while he has the dexterity to wrap his fingers around an object, he can’t maintain that grip for long before his muscles relax and the object falls from his hands. Whenever we are working on fine motor skills like self-feeding or having fun with a family cooking project, he needs constant assistance in holding a fork or mixing spoon.

Sometimes it seems like we could make more progress with these skills if we didn’t have to worry about dropping food or toys and could just focus on motor planning instead.

That’s where EazyHold comes in!

How EazyHold Works

The concept behind EazyHold is simple: What if your child could hold an object in their hand even if they have limited or no grip strength?

The designers of EazyHold developed a strap that can be adjusted to fit almost anything that could be held in one hand: feeding utensils, writing tools, toys, musical instruments, art supplies, grooming tools, and so much more!

Because the strap is fully adjustable, you can use the strap for small or big hands. You can create a snug or loose fit, depending on your child’s needs and what they can tolerate. The silicone material is nonslip so it will stay in place, and is also comfortable to have on skin so even kids with tactile sensitivities tend to do well with the EazyHold.

The versatility and durability of the EazyHold make them a worthy purchase, although it’s even better that they aren’t very expensive! And you can get a lot out of a pack of straps:

  • 100% silicone so they are easy to clean and sanitize and can be used by multiple patients in clinical settings.
  • Safe and nontoxic, latex, BPA, and phthalate free.
  • Come in multiple sizes (and colors!) to fit any hand and any object.
  • Allow the user to hold an object in their hand even with low hand strength, giving them the sensory feedback they need to learn to grip independently.
  • Nonslip so the strap stays on your object.
  • Thick and stretchy material is durable and will last a long time.
